All sorts of things!
We have the two Beaver Colonies that follow the same programme but meet on separate evenings they are active colonies and try to do as many different things as possible. We do our activities across our two sites with Spring and Summer being at Avening Green and Autumn and Winter at our Cromhall Hq, we go on day visits, such as a trip down to Weston, walks along the river, the annual St George’s day and Remembrance Day Service a Christmas Carol Service and Treat e.g. bowling. The Beavers are even allowed on sleepovers!
We play games, do wonderful crafts, make new friends, explore the outdoors, create things and eventually when the beavers become 8yrs, they move up to cubs.
Take a look at the Scouts website for more information on Beaver Scouts.
Our beavers take part in lots of activities that go towards various “activity” and “challenge” badges. Please sew them onto the beaver’s jumper when your beaver is awarded with the badges.

More information about the badge system can be found on the scouts.org.uk website.
