Tortworth Open Day – Car Parking
Date: 7th June 2026
Location: Tortworth Estate Farm Shop, GL12 8HF
We have been asked again by the Tortworth Farm Shop if we could manage the car parking for this year’s OPEN FARM event on Sunday 7th June 2026 from 10:00-16:00. Last year we raised over £650, if we raise similar this year we will have sufficient funds to easily by a new party tent which we need for the Big Fiesta the following weekend! We needed a new roof, but it’s better value to buy the whole tent.
We do need our lovely Beavers & Cubs to manage the buckets and the Scouts & Explorers to manage the car parking, however, we do need them to bring along an adult with them for supervision. Hi-Viz vests will be supplied.
On the day, your young person should wear their uniform or if a hot day their group polo shirt, their kneckie and a sun hat. They should also bring with them a filled water bottle and just in case, a rain coat,
By attending and helping out at this event not only will it help us buy a new tent but it will tick off the community service element within their challenge badges!
