Confirmation of attendance at celebratory BBQ 13/09/25

1st Woodend Scout Group (Fury’s Own) is celebrating their 50th year in Scouting

On the 12-14th September we are celebrating our 50th year with a Group Camp for our current young people at the Woodhouse Park Activity Centre, Almondsbury.
We would like to invite all present and past leaders, Executive Committee Members and Trustees to a celebratory BBQ on Saturday 13th at 6pm at the Training Centre WHP to reminisce as well as thanking you all for their help, support and commitment to making the Group the success it is today.
Our current Group Lead Volunteer, Board of Trustees, Leaders and Young People would love to see you there, have a burger and/or sausage or two and of course some cake to celebrate this wonderful milestone.
Unfortunately, we don’t have details of all those who have volunteered for the group since 1975, so would appreciate if anyone who knows anyone who has helped out as an adult in the group, please could you pass this message on to them and ask them to drop us a line by 10th September to 1stwoodendscouts@gmail.com or via the online form below confirming it they are available to attend, or if not, share some memories that we could possibly read out at the event?
If they can’t attend, please extend our thanks for all of their help and support during their time with the group from both myself, the current leaders and the Young People. Thank you.
Yours in Scouting.
