Big Fiesta 26 Information & Forms

1st Woodend Scout Group Big Fiesta Camp

Arrivals, Friday afternoon no earlier than 18:00 no later than 19:00 unless by prior agreement

Follow the directions to Woodhouse Park Activity Centre,  Fern Hill, Almondsbury, BS32 4LX . Please DO NOT use your Sat Nav as there will be a one way entry and exit on and off the site. Please be patient as the drop offs will be supervised by volunteers like us!

There will be no parking up, you will be asked to drop off your Beaver(s), Cub(s) and/or Scouts). Uniformed members of our Group will be looking out for our young people, identifying them by their uniform and kneckie, to escort them and their luggage to our camp site. Luggage should ideally be in a large holdall and a day bag, no loose items please? All items should be named as there are going to be around 300 campers on site. Departures, Sunday afternoon                

Collecting from the car park no earlier than 14:00 no later than 15:00. If you volunteer to take down tents etc you will be allowed in earlier! Again, there will be leaders from the Group to escort your Beavers/Cubs/Scouts back to the car park.

Instructions may change on the day depending on the flow of traffic etc.

Additional Information

Full uniform required for arrival and departure.

In their backpack there should be:

Medicines labelled and in a bag please

Cakes/biscuits for the communal table

Pocket money of £10 only.

Kit List – Please note, if an item on the list says ‘optional’ everything else is compulsory!

Cubs/Scouts only: completed and signed Shooting Permission Form, unless emailed  to the group in advance
